Fog rolling over forested ridgelines in Northwest Washington
Off the Clock

After hours, the camera stays out

Real estate pays the bills. Herons, harbors, banana slugs, and foggy ridgelines keep the eye sharp. A few favorites from around Northwest Washington.

Between shoots you will usually find me somewhere damp, waiting on a bird. These are personal photos, made for no client and no deadline, from the same corners of Whatcom and Skagit County where we photograph homes. The patience is the same. The light is the same. The subjects are just less likely to hold still.
